BOE holding special meeting Tuesday on Jackson County appeals

The Board of Equalization will hold a special meeting Tuesday morning at the Historic Truman Courthouse in Independence, Missouri. The meeting comes one day after the Monday deadline to file an appeal for Jackson County home and business owners. The board will discuss whether to extend the deadline again, to September 1 or later.
