"If you go online, you can see the questioning that Elijah Cummings did of (U.S. Customs and Border Protection commissioner) Kevin McAleenan regarding the conditions on the border. Mr. Cummings said that children were sitting on their own faces. That's not right. That's not accurate."
Cummings repeatedly lied -- and he did so in a rude, condescending manner:
