Do Women Feel Safe In Montreal

We went around Montreal to talk to many women of different demographics to see their opinion on women’s safety in Montreal. Canada is ranked low on the “DANGER” scale, but was ranked high in regards to non partner sexual violence.
There are a plethora of reasons why a country can be unsafe for a woman, including the "minutiae of the legal system, and systematic oppression of local women." And looking deeper, safety is dependant in age, race, if women are alone, travelling, if theyre sex workers, they’re homeless. This video covers women’s opinions on safety and gives suggestions on how to stay safe.
