U.S. Army Corps partners with private sector on algae cleanup project

The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is partnering with private companies on a project designed to control harmful algal blooms on large bodies of water. Researchers have worked for the past 3 weeks in Moore Haven, testing large-scale skimming technology to remove algae near the water's surface.
