Woman holding knife shot by police, hospitalized

A Tuesday afternoon report of a knife-wielding woman threatening suicide in East Price Hill ended with police shooting her in the leg, Police Chief Eliot Isaac said in a news conference. According to Isaac, officers arrived to check on her around 3:45 and "a struggle ensued" outside the Crestline Avenue home in which the incident had been reported.
