Kruz is a 5-year-old Doberman Pinscher. He was protecting his family from a snake and decided to show them what he saved them from. It was a copperhead, and copperhead snakes are in the pit viper family and are venomous. He gave his owner a really good scare chasing her back into the house while being proud of his new catch.
