Taylor Alison Swift or more famously known as Taylor Swift was born on December 13, 1989 in Reading, Pennsylvania. Her parents already saw potential in her becoming a great singer when she was still very young. They were even the ones who first set up her social media account so their daughter's talent can be made known.

Taylor Swift got her big break when she got a contract with Scott Borchetta's Big Machine Records after her spectacular performance at The Bluebird Cafe in Nashville. After that she released her first single entitled Tim McGraw in 2006. She also released her first album entitled Taylor Swift in the same year. She was just a 17-year-old teenage girl at that time. Her first album contained a lot of songs that became a hit. These songs resounded the love and the following heartbreak that many teenagers experienced. Country music fans really love her songs. Even non-country music fans became fond of the genre because of the songs released by Taylor Swift. Her other hit songs include Our Song, Teardrops on My Guitar and Should've Said No.

Now more than ten years later after her first album release, Taylor Swift is still a very successful singer. Her "Reputation" Stadium Tour, which started on May 8, 2018 and ended on November 21, 2018, won five awards and eight nominations. Business Insider also reported that her "Reputation" stadium tour was the highest-grossing tour in the US. This tour grossed $266.1 million. This really proves that Taylor Swift still has what it takes to be a great singer.

But please do not be mistaken in thinking that her record of having the highest-grossing tour in the US is the only accomplishment that Taylor Swift has for the year. One accomplishment is simply not enough for her. She has other great accomplishments. Her other accomplishments include Forbes naming her the world's highest-paid celebrity with $185 million in pretax income in the past year. Take note it is $185 million! Even after she is taxed, she will still receive a reasonably big chunk of money! It has also been reported that she amassed an estimated $360 million net worth. And another little thing is that she owns at least $84 million in real estate across four states.

But Ms. Swift is not all about taking. She does not forget to give after receiving a lot of blessings. It has been reported that she has donated $113,000 to the Tennessee Equality Project (TEP). TEP is an advocacy group who fights for the equal right of the people in United States state of Tennessee. Their advocacy is done through legislative advocacy.
