According to Business Insider, these charges reignited demands for Labor Secretary Alex Acosta to resign. Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi wrote on Twitter that Acosta “must step down.” In her tweet she referred to a non-prosecution deal Acosta made with Epstein in 2007.
