Strong storms again late this afternoon and evening

Another round of severe thunderstorms with heavy rain, large hail and intense lightning will hit eastern Colorado late this afternoon and through the evening. There is a moderate threat for severe storm activity again for Denver and the eastern plains. Storms are expected to form mainly between 3-8 p.m. for the I-25 corridor. From 6 p.m. through the overnight hours, scattered storms are likely over the eastern plains.
