City Springs pool reopens

East Baltimore residents looking to beat the heat will have a new refuge as the Baltimore City Department of Recreation and Parks reopened City Springs Pool at noon on Friday. The pool didn’t open at the beginning of the season due to a power issue with the pool’s motor. It has since been replaced. Patterson Park Pool was open at the start of the season, only to have to be closed and drained for maintenance. That pool reopened at the end of June. Unfortunately, Greater Model and Central Rosemount pools remain closed with maintenance issues. More information about the pools is on the department's website.
