At least one police officer shot a suspect who was “acting erratically and armed with a knife” in a Madisonville park Thursday morning, Chief Eliot Isaac said. Two police officers responded at about 10:20 a.m. to Bramble Park. The officers “came into close contact” with him in the parking lot, Isaac said, and at least one officer shot the suspect. Isaac said the suspect was shot multiple times. First responders transported the suspect to a local hospital. The suspect's condition is unknown. The police officers were not injured.
