Most people know what not to drink before bedtime if they want to sleep well.
But according to CNN, research is scant on what beverages actually promote restful sleep.
Some studies suggest that consuming milk might help improve falling asleep -- even warm milk mixed with honey.
Milk is a source of the amino acid tryptophan, which can benefit slumber.
Once it enters your body, it's converted into two brain chemicals associated with sleep.
