After a 12-year-old Oxford boy lost a hand in a suspicious incident with a modified firework one night in March, the Oxford Police Department partnered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms & Explosives to investigate. Now, only one week before firework-laden Fourth of July festivities, Grandma's Fireworks has issued a recall of roughly 25,000 units of modified fireworks as a result of the investigation.
