Heather Langenkamp Discusses Special Effects In The 1980s

Heather Langenkamp played Nancy Thompsn in the 1984 horror film, “A Nightmare on Elm Street.” She said taking on the role didn’t take a lot of convincing because she was barely starting out and was “eager to work.” According to Comicbook.com, Langenkamp said writer and director Wes Craven had a vision that the crew had to constantly bring to life. The actress said every week there was some “extremely major special effect” they tried to pull off for the film.
