An eyewitness said the gang of young men smashed their way into the vehicle, pulled off the door and then drove it around the road.

The yobs, dressed in hoodies, duffle coats, and tracksuit bottoms, can be seen holding what looks like long bats, in Dagenham, London.

The eyewitness, a local, said they nicked the tools inside the van before "continuing with their anti-social behaviour down the street".
