According to a report by Reuters, on Tuesday, a US House of Representatives panel moved to hold two members of President Donald Trump's Cabinet in contempt of Congress for defying subpoenas in an inquiry into whether the administration's plan to add a citizenship question to the 2020 census was intended to discriminate against racial minorities. The decision reportedly came with a major Supreme Court decision looming on the legality of adding the citizenship question to the census.
