According to CNN, every year, Millions of tons of plastic enter the oceans, polluting our seas, littering our beaches and endangering wildlife. The astounding amount of plastic begs the questions: how does all that plastic even end up in the sea in the first place and how can we stop it? A study conducted in 2017 found that around 90 percent of all the plastic in the world's oceans flows there through just 10 rivers.
