“Toy Story 4” may be a hit in the U.S. but in China the film isn’t doing so well. According to Comicbook.com, the film was released at the same time “Spirited Away” was brought back. The popular Studio Ghibli anime took the country’s top box-office spot, premiering in theaters for the first time. “Toy Story 4” received positive reviews and grossed $13.2 million but still took second to “Spirited Away.” The classic film earned $28 million, which is double what “Toy Story 4” made.
