“The Big Bang Theory,” dubbed television’s longest-running sitcom, came to an end in May. After 12 seasons, the reason the show ended was because Jim Parsons decided to move on. According to Comicbook.com, his contract ended with the show and Parsons said it was time to end it. He said: “I feel like we really wrung that material for what it was.” Parsons said there wasn’t a particular situation that made him want to leave but said he simply just knew it was time.
