Bernie Sanders to propose legislation to eliminate student loan debt Unlisted Video

Sen. Bernie Sanders has a plan to completely eliminate student loan debt. According to CNN, there is $1.6 trillion of student loan undergraduate and graduate debt for around 45 million people. The plan has no eligibility limitations and would be paid with a new tax on Wall Street. Although Sen. Elizabeth Warren also proposed student loan debt legislation, it has limitations. Her plan is subject to income eligibility levels that determine how much each person receives.
