David Gilmour Auctions Off Guitars

Former Pink Floyd guitarist and vocalist David Gilmour auctioned of his guitars in a bid to raise money to combat climate change. Christie's auction house says it raised $21.5 million Thursday, selling off more than 120 guitars owned by the legendary musician. According to SF Gate, a black Stratocaster was the top item and was purchased for a staggering $3,975,000, a new world record for a guitar at auction.
