According to Reuters, the Federal Reserve signaled it may cut interest rates throughout the rest of the year.
On June 19th, the latest Federal Open Market Committee meeting for discussing interest rates concluded.
Citing increased economic uncertainty and a drop in expected inflation, the Fed chose to keep interest rates steady.
But they may lower interest rates up to half a percentage point over the rest of 2019.
