Jude - Coastal German Shepherd Rescue OC

Everyone who meets this XL fluff ball falls in love with him. He looks big and bad on the exterior, but he's really just a big marshmallow who is a leaner, a cuddler, as sweet as can be, and very expressive.

Jude is a big, lovable GSD/Akita mix, somewhere around 3 years old, whom we rescued from a high-kill shelter. He's incredibly strong, incredibly cuddly, super food motivated, and working on his obedience game now. He didn't appear to have been socialized much prior to his rescue and was fearful around strangers and other dogs when we first met. Now that he's been working with volunteers, he's come out of his shell and proved to be a big softy who loves to cuddle and get pets. He knows his basic commands and is very (very!) food motivated, so he's a lot of fun to train. While he doesn't understand (yet) how to play with other dogs, he is not reactive to them (while on leash), a great hiking partner, and an all around gem of a pony sized dog.
