Business Insider reports that dogs that escaped Chernobyl -- after the nuclear reactor opened releasing plumes of radioactive material into the air -- mated with others and released hundreds of their descendants to roam around the exclusion zone. Thirty years later, some of these dogs are getting adopted. The Clean Futures Fund, a humanitarian organization, has been helping to spay, neuter, and vaccinate the stray dogs.
