Large-scale active shooter exercise in Butler County today

Eleven school districts and a dozen agencies will participate in a first-of-its-kind school safety exercise in Butler County Tuesday morning. Nearly 200 students and adults will be on hand to help police, paramedics and other first responders practice how they would respond to an active shooter situation. The exercise will take place from 8 a.m. until noon at the Ross High School and Ross Middle School campus.
