Bear escapes jaws of hungry tiger

A quick thinking bear escaped the jaws of a hungry tiger - by climbing a tree.Show more

Tourists on a Jeep tour spotted the big cat chasing the bear, and watched as the nimble animal scarpered up the tree.

The video shows the tiger trying to follow - but couldn't get its claws on the quick bear, which perched just out of reach, on Sunday.

And it used its new vantage point to take the tiger on, and let out a big growl, scaring the feline off.
