US doubles number of Asylum seekers being sent to Mexico Unlisted Video

A Mexican immigration official said the U.S. doubled the number of asylum seekers it sends back to Mexico. He said around 200 asylum seekers were being sent back from El Paso, Texas each day. On June 7, Mexico agreed to expand the program known as the “Migrant Protection Protocols.” This program forces mostly Central American asylum seekers arriving to the U.S. to wait the outcome of their claims in Mexico.
