Reuters reports demonstrators and police clashed Thursday in Hong Kong as hundreds of people continued protesting a planned extradition law.
On Wednesday, protests around the city’s legislature forced the government to postpone the debate on the extradition bill.
The bill would allow Hong Kong residents to be sent to mainland China for trial.
Hong Kong’s China-backed Chief Executive Carrie Lam condemned the violence but supports the legislation.
