Holidaymaker jumping into floodwater

This hilarious video shows a barmy holidaymaker diving into floodwater from inside his caravan after his summer getaway was ruined by unseasonably wet weather.

Alex Henderson, 28, pulled on a pair of fetching yellow shorts, a swim cap and a pair of goggles after finding out the on-site pool was closed for the day.

Footage shows him throwing his body head-first into the inches-deep water and desperately trying to swim away from the caravan.

Alex then flips his body over, a move he describes as "like an Olympic athlete", and starts doing backstroke towards a neighbouring caravan.
