Wednesday was sure a gloomy day with temperature well below normal. We should do some warming today with sunshine back in the area and temperatures warming u to near 70 degrees this afternoon under winds from the northwest at 5 to 15 mph. Tonight, skies should remain mostly clear with temperatures falling to near 50 with west winds around 5 to 10 mph. Skies begin to build in cloud cover Friday morning as our next disturbance moves through. Showers and perhaps a thunderstorm look to affect areas north of highway 29 better than other locations in our area. Winds will be coming in from the southwest at 10 to 20 mph. Highs will be in the lower 70s. We cool down a few degrees on Saturday with mostly cloudy skies and temperatures in the upper 60s with a few showers and isolated thunderstorms. Most of the instability will be out of our area for Father’s Day but there could be an afternoon shower of thunderstorm pop up on radar. Temperatures will be near 70 degrees.
