If you forgot to water your garden, don't worry, Mother Nature has you covered today. We have a lot of rain and embedded thunderstorms to deal with through the evening hours. Rainfall totals will likely range from 0.75" to near 2 inches in some areas. Other locations will see ranges from a quarter to a half inch where thunderstorms don't materialize. Temperatures will remain in the mid and upper 50s from Door County to the lakeshore areas. Elsewhere lower to mid-60s will be the highs. It will be a breezy day with north and northwest winds around 10 to 15 mph. Tonight, any showers and thunderstorms will come to an end, temperatures fall into the mid-40s with northwest winds between 5 and 15 mph. Skies will remain mostly cloudy to overcast initially but as we head into Thursday morning, we will see skies quickly clearing from west to east as this low pressure exits the region. Temperatures warm to close to 70 on Thursday with northwest winds 10 to 15 mph. Showers return Friday afternoon and continue into the first part of the weekend. Highs on Friday get into the lower 70s.Showers and possibly some thunderstorms with highs near 70 is what you can expect for your Saturday. Sunday looks drier but there may be enough instability to spark off a few afternoon showers of thunderstorms with highs in the lower 70s.
