A woman and her girlfriend were recently beaten and robbed on a London bus after they refused to kiss. During her concert, Halsey spoke out about the incident while wearing an image of the couple. The artist spoke about the reality of being gay and how unsafe it still is for people in public spaces. She said many people wash off the glitter and stickers from the Pride parades to avoid being hurt in public.
