Woodstock 50 festival loses New York site

Reuters reports the owners of the planned site in New York for the Woodstock 50 festival said on Monday they would no longer host the festival.
Watkins Glen International said in a statement, “Watkins Glen International terminated the site license for Woodstock pursuant to provisions of the contract." Woodstock 50 was planned for Aug. 16-19 at the Watkins Glen motor racing venue. It was scheduled to mark the 50th anniversary of the legendary 1969 Woodstock music festival.
