Study suggests Chickenpox vaccine lowers risk of shingles in kids Unlisted Video

UPI reports a new study shows that the risk of developing shingles significantly decreases for children who are vaccinated for chickenpox. According to a research study published Monday in Pediatrics, vaccinated children had a 78 percent lower risk of developing shingles than unvaccinated children. For the study, researchers looked at medical records from six health care organizations -- 6.34 million children.
