Reuters reports U.S. and Mexican officials resumed talks on Friday to try to avert a potential trade war. U.S. President Donald Trump last week threatened 5% tariffs on Mexican imports starting on Monday, if Mexico did not prove that it would stop the increase in migrants crossing the U.S. southern border. Trump said in a tweet Friday that there was a “good chance” the United States would be able to reach a deal with Mexico.
