"Straight Pride Parade" organizers in Boston called Brad Pitt their "mascot" on their website Super Happy Fun America.
But according to Business Insider, the actor contacted the parade organizers and "told them to stop."
The initial note on the Super Happy Fun America read: "The Straight Community has adopted Brad Pitt as our mascot! Congratulations to Mr. Pitt for being the face of this important civil rights movement."
There was also a film image from the movie "Mr. and Mrs. Smith," featuring Pitt's exes—Angelina Jolie, with Pitt's ex-wife Jennifer Aniston edited into the frame "pulling Pitt back by a rope."
The website now says that right-wing figure, Milo Yiannopoulos, is their new mascot.
Verbiage posted includes "Not to worry, we found someone younger, more handsome, and more in tune with heroic masculine virtues."
The 'Straight Pride Parade' is set for August 31, although Boston's mayor said the organizers do not yet have a permit.
