This is no ordinary antique shop. Sloan's Antiques has been a fixture on the East Side of Buffalo for almost sixty-five years. Max Sloan took over the business from his father who started it in 1955. The building has four floors packed with furniture, collectibles and artwork. Over the decades the place has evolved into a time capsule of days gone by. Max says "some people don't like old stuff-we love old stuff." In recent years Sloan's has become the go to place for movie producers hunting for props.
