High pressure is going to be in charge of our pattern the next 3 days. That means quiet weather. Today, expect that sun to make its return with highs in the mid- to upper-70s, though cooler readings along Lake Michigan. Tonight will be clear, quiet and comfortable. Overnight lows will be in the low-50s with light winds. Friday, more of that sunshine is in the forecast. Highs will top out around 80°, but a gentle ESE breeze will keep things cooler along Lake Michigan. Friday night will be clear and quiet again with lows in the mid-50s. Saturday looks like another beauty for early Summer with highs in the low-80s, though much cooler along Lake Michigan. Things do change on Sunday however. A risk of showers and thunderstorms will exist as a cold front pushes through the Upper Midwest, mainly in the afternoon. A few lingering showers might hang on early Monday.
