According to Business Insider, "Coming out is a nerve-wracking, intimidating experience made difficult for those in the LGBTQ+ community who are unsure how their friends and family will react." A new study conducted through Tinder found that people are more likely to come out online than they are to their family and friends. In fact, there is an increasing popularity in coming out through Instagram photos, Youtube videos, blog posts, and online communities.
