How "Milwaukee's Finest" Are Fighting Cystic Fibrosis

When the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation was established in 1955, people born with the disease weren't expected to live to attend elementary school. Today, because of their efforts, people with CF are living into their 30s, 40s, and beyond! Joining us to discuss the mission of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and a special event is Rick Verthein. He's joined by Tom and Melissa Hunter, along with their son Aiden who has Cystic Fibrosis. The "Milwaukee's Finest" Campaign from the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation honors Milwaukee’s best and brightest young professionals. These leaders are not only making a positive local impact, they’re also committed to supporting the Foundation’s mission.
