Alex Trebek’s cancer "near remission”

According to his doctors, Trebek is in “near remission” three months after being diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer. Trebek told People magazine, “It’s kind of mind-boggling. The doctors said they hadn’t seen this kind of positive result in their memory… some of the tumors have already shrunk by more than 50 percent.” Alex has been responding well to chemotherapy and will undergo several more rounds.
