The SQDC is raising the price of weed in Quebec
The SQDC is increasing the price of cannabis for the first time since it’s legalization 6 months ago. Up by 5%, legal weed is competing poorly against it’s black market counterpart.
Statistics Canada reports that illegal cannabis now goes for nearly half as much, driving many to black market dealers.
The SQDC’s downtown location is now open seven days a week but still struggles to keep shelves stocked.
