Michael Fassbender Says He'd Return For 'Alien: Covenant' Sequel

Comicbook.com reports actor Michael Fassbender will conclude his time playing Magneto in the X-Men franchise when 'X-Men: Dark Phoenix' premieres. Fans are left to wonder who could take over the role when Disney incorporates the character into the Marvel Cinematic Universe, due to its merger with Fox. Fassbender also starred in two installments in the Alien franchise, 'Prometheus' and 'Alien: Covenant,' and it's unclear if Disney will continue the R-rated franchise.
