According to ComicBook.com, Ridley Scott would like to see the Alien Franchise evolve under Disney ownership.
Director of the first ground breaking sci-fi movie and Co-creator of the Alien franchise Ridley Scott recently said that he's had conversations with Disney and knows that, for the series to continue, it would need to evolve.
