Resident claims bin man 'smashed' his phone

A resident is claiming he was attacked by a bin man in a heated row over 'unwashed' cans that the refuse collector had refused to take away for recycling.

Lorin Robinson, 22, claims the binman attacked him and threw his phone to the floor after he was asked why some of his tin cans were not taken away.

He filmed a 20-second clip which appears to end with the refuse collector, wearing hi vis, smashing his phone.
