Smokers in North Las Vegas can no longer smoke at city parks. The North Las Vegas City Council approved an ordinance to limit smoking at all 37 parks in the city on Wednesday. According to the Review Journal, the ban is now in effect. You must be 100 feet away from playgrounds, picnic tables and nature trails. The city plans to start placing signs up by July 1. The goal is to protect children from second hand smoke.
