It is going to be a cool start to the Memorial Day weekend with temperatures only near 50 by the lake, and then upper 50s and lower 60s inland. Winds will be blowing out of the east and southeast at 10 to 15 mph with gusts near 20 mph. There will be scattered showers and thunderstorms on and off throughout the day. Temperatures will fall into the mid 50s overnight with showers and storms shifting southward. Winds will change out of the northwest at 5 to 10 mph. Temperatures soar into the lower 80s on Saturday, a very mild day with breezy southwest winds at 10 to 20 mph with gusts near 30. A cold front will move in later in the evening which could spark off a few showers or a thunderstorm. Partly cloudy to mostly sunny skies with highs in the upper 60s on your Sunday. Another risk of showers and thunderstorms moves in on Memorial Day. At this time it appears the morning will be dry but then showers and some storms move in later in the afternoon and evening.
