Teachers face backlash for controversial yearbook photos
Kids with special needs will get the chance to learn the ropes of rodeo this weekend, and the best part is the event is free! It's being held on May 25 at Horseman's Park. State championship qualifying cowboys and cowgirls will teach participants all they need to know when it comes to the rodeo. Volunteers say horses have a special healing power that helps with mental health. Some California teachers are getting blasted for yearbook photos that many say are culturally insensitive. The group of language teachers appear to have dressed according to the language they teach. Six of the teachers teach Spanish and dressed in sombreros and fake mustaches. The French teacher is wearing a beret. The district says the pictures are culturally insensitive and in poor judgment, and they have taken the appropriate steps to make sure this does not happen again.
