Newser reports Michael Avenatti was charged Wednesday with stealing from his former client Stormy Daniels, while representing her in a case against US President Donald Trump. The AP reports federal prosecutors in New York City say Avenatti doctored a document to divert $300,000 that Daniels was supposed to get from a book deal and used the money for personal and business expenses.
