A Café Offering Support to People with Memory Loss
When an individual is suffering from memory loss issues, it can be isolating -- not only for the person, but also for their family and caretakers. Memory cafés are places where these people and their loved ones can gather for fellowship, support, resources and more. Joining us to discuss the Memory Café in Greenfield is Ruth Busalacchi from SYNERGY HomeCare, along with Val Ferber and Dean Ferber, who are Memory Café members. On June 10 at 2:30pm there will be an official Ribbon Cutting Event at Meyer's Restaurant to celebrate the one year anniversary of it being a Memory Café. To find the nearest Memory Café to you , call the Alzheimer's Association at (414) 479-8800. And for more information on SYNERGY HomeCare and their services, visit SYNERGYHomeCare.com.
